At Get Rocking! We teach various stringed instruments, including acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. We also offer lessons in piano/keyboard and drums.

No, it’s not necessary. Our teachers provide all the material required for lessons and home practice. However, books and sheet music can be valuable resources, and our teachers are happy to recommend the best options for each student.

Do I need to buy any books or sheet music?

Lessons are held throughout the school day. However, we understand that your child’s education is essential, so if you prefer your child not to miss any of their lessons, we can even arrange sessions during lunch breaks.

When and where will lessons occur?

Once we’ve confirmed your child’s booking for the term, we’ll send you an invoice with all the details you’ll need to make a payment. Payments can be made via bank transfer.

How do I make a payment?

Do I need to own an instrument?

We provide instruments for our students during their lessons. We understand that purchasing an instrument is a significant investment. Some students may still be undecided about whether they want to continue playing, so we ensure they have what they need without the commitment of making a purchase right away.

We offer lessons based on recognised syllabi, such as ABRSM, Rock School, or Trinity, for those who favour a more formal approach. Also, we can help you learn to play your favourite songs across diverse genres, including Rock, Pop, Metal, Grunge, and Blues. We aim to teach our students music that ignites their passion for learning.

What do we teach?

After your child’s trial lesson, we’ll send you a feedback email letting you know how they did and what we got up to. If they enjoyed themselves and are interested in learning to play, we can sign them up for the remainder of the school term.

How do I Enrol?

Absolutely! We understand that starting to learn an instrument can feel daunting. That’s why we offer a free trial lesson so students can experience the joy of playing and see if it’s right for them! From the very first note, we focus on making learning fun and inspiring.
